Not too long ago, I was no different than you. A wife, a mother, a homemaker with absolutely “no time” for myself - that was until “I woke up!” In January of 2005, I walked into Merritt Athletic Clubs with a desire and a dream. Guilted by taking “me time” out
of my day, I uttered to myself “you are worth it” and pressed on. The weeks quickly passed and the years slipped by. My body
thanked me every step of the way by improving my health, flexibility and strength. Me time became mandatory. Today, I am
proud to be a Personal Trainer here at Merritt Athletic Clubs. It is my goal to enlighten, motivate and convince you to “WAKE UP,” and take time for yourself today so that you may live a healthier tomorrow.

“I have Personal Training with Karen Martinez twice a week because I love training with her.
