Nutrition and Weight Loss

The Merritt Athletic Clubs offer results-oriented lifestyle programs that are well-rounded and designed to address your health-specific needs. Becky Conti, our Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant, teaches clients about basic nutrition and helps them plan an effective weight management program specific to their needs.

Behavioral changes required to maintain long term weight loss are also addressed. Weight loss clients meet one to two times per week in either a one-on-one or group setting to discuss diet, lifestyle, goals, and behavior patterns and then develop a plan that is modified to take into account any changes in these factors.

Nutrition and Fitness Programs An initial health screening that includes a body composition assessment is conducted in order to establish a health, nutrition, and fitness baseline.
