Junior Fitness Certification at Merritt Towson
Designed for children between the ages of 12-15. The purpose of the program is to teach basic aerobic and resistance training principles and address proper exercise etiquete. By completing this course the participants will be allowed to use appropriate cardio machines and do weight-resistance training using machines. Once the children are certified they will be given a bracelet that will be worn and an exercise log book that will be color-coded and updated quarterly. At the completion of the program, kids will receive their Junior Fitness bracelets, workout logbooks, and certification. They become eligible to obtain their own membership or add on to their parents.

Kid Fit at Merritt Towson
Kid Fit is an on-going program, a fast-paced, informative exercise class which includes basic strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, agility and speed work, weight management, and nutrition. Kid Fit will help your 7-12 year old increase his/her overall fitness or they can use the sessions to support their sport specific training. Members $10 per session, non-members $15 per session. American Girl Book Club Now at Merritt Towson
Does your daughter enjoy American Girl dolls and their stories? Here is the perfect chance for her to share that enjoyment with other children her age! Join us one Friday night each month for our American Girl Book Club. Each meeting we will talk about that month's book, the book for the upcoming month, eat pizza, play games, and do crafts and special activities. Cost of $30 for members and $45 for non-members includes includes the American Girl book for the following month. Discount when 5 sessions are purchased.

XRKade is now at Merritt Eldersburg and Towson! XRKade was developed by a group of gamers and fitness enthusiasts with a goal of making games and physical activity more fun.

Merritt Eldersburg Tang Soo Do
Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art that strengthens practitioners' mind, body, and spirit. Master Hyson has been training in Tang Soo Do for 15 years and teaching for over 10 years, developing flexibility, power, stamina, strength, and self-control in all his students. Eldersburg Tang Soo Do is part of the Pan-Am Tang Soo Do Federation under the direction of Chong Su Kim from York, PA.

Tuesdays and Thursdays
Grasshopper Class (3-6 year olds) - 6:00PM-7:00PM
7-13 year old - 7:00PM-8:00PM
14+ years of age - 8:00PM-9:00PM
