Bare Hills Squash Programs
Squash is growing at Merritt Athletic Clubs Bare Hills! Join squash pro Lefika Ragontse and his new professional coaches on our 6 NEW stae-of-the-art squash courts located in the fitness center. Squash lessons and clinics and much more are available to both adults and children of all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Bare Hills Summer Squash Camps. For skill levels 1-5 and Elite.
Each week the squash camps focus on many different aspects of the game such as conditioning, drills, fitness, strength, psychology of the game, technique, movement, footwork, balance, positioning, and match play. If you want to learn how to become a better squash player, join us for our Summer 2010 series. Be prepared to work hard and have the most fun you have ever experience, both on and off the court! Sessions run weekly from June 7 through September 3 (last session begins August 30)
Level 1-3 Monday-Friday 9:00AM-12:00PM. $325 per week. Daily Drop in fee $75.
Level 4-5 Monday-Friday 1:00PM-4:00PM. $325 per week. Daily Drop in fee $75.
Elite Monday-Friday 10:00AM-12:00PM and 4:00PM-6:00PM. $350 per week. Daily Drop in fee $75.

Squash at Merritt Athletic Clubs Canton
Squash is back at Canton! Join squash coach Alex Hurwitz for lessons and clinics to help better your game. Squash lessons and clinics are available to both adults and children in all levels, from beginner to advanced. Clinics are a great way to get together with a group of people, practice your shots, and learn new game tactics.

  • Semi-Private Lessons - a great way to learn with a friend-
    Members $35, Non-Members $50
  • Private Lessons - Package of 10 Lessons:
    Members $395 for 30 minutes, $575 for 60 minutes
  • Private Lessons - Members $45 for 30 minutes; $65 for 60 minutes. Non-Members $60 for 30 minutes; $80 for 60 minutes. Receive one-on-one attention; a great way to learn the game or improve your stroke.
  • Squash Clinic - Members $25; Non-Members $50
  • Box League - $75 for 5 weeks
  • Ladder Play - Will start once a minimum of 5 people sign up and will include one challenge match each week.

Assessment -- Never played squash before? All members are entitled to a free half-hour assessment to determine skill level. The squash professional can also give you names of people interested in playing.

Match Arranging -- Looking for other squash enthusiasts? Merritt's squash professionalsl can help you with the new Play Squash program, affiliated with US Squash.

Clinics -- Get together with a group of people, practice your shots, and learn tactics to this new game. Look for signs on the squash board behind the courts at our Bare Hills and Canton locations.

Camps -- Need something for your kids to pass the time during holidays and summer vacations? Merritt Athletic Clubs at Bare Hills offers a number of different camps throughout the year. Encourage your kids to get out of the house and on the court for a few hours!

Round Robins and Ladders -- Ladders are an opportunity to meet and play other people with similar skill levels.

Tournaments -- Look for two events each year -- one in the winter while it is snowing outside, and another in the fall while the leaves are changing!
